AFRICAN NIGHT CRUISE FULLY BOOKED,30 EXTRA CABIN FOR PARTY PEOPLE
The “Africa Night Cruise” scheduled for 8th-9th October is fully booked. According to latest information from Silja line, a total of 368 Party addicts and friends of Africa had booked cabins in readiness for the historic cruise. The booking has been dramatic since last week when workers received their pay checks and the high booking streak has continued throughout the week-end. Yesterday, the Management of Siljaline responded to an appeal by Africa Monetary Fund that they allocate more cabins to cope with high demand. Consequently, 30 fresh cabins were allocated and 6 hours later, 50 more bookings were made. Chances are that by the end of the day, all the extra cabins shall have been booked in a last minute mad rush for bookings by panicky fans seeking to join the cruise to be part of history-making. When the extra cabins run out, the total number of guests booked in for the African thrill is expected to shoot to over 400, a sign that Club Galaxy will be filled to “near explosion” by Party people. Once the “Ritz Cabins” run out, anybody making a booking will have to pay an extra 150kr in the boat to gain entrance to the gigantic “Club Galaxy” where events will be taking place. Upon check-in, “Ritz guests” will be provided with an arm band that will enable them gain entrance in Club Galaxy without problems. Those paying entrance fee at the gate will also be provided with arm bands for identification purposes. The Cabins are available in units of 1,2,3 and 4 people respectively while VIP Cabins are also available although they are more expensive. In Club Galaxy, there will be a VIP area reserved for top management of AMF/Ritz Society, Diplomatic staff from various Embassies booked for the cruise, Judges for the contest, performing artists and other VIPs who will all be accorded top security. The VIPs will have separate arm bands for purposes of identification. The top attraction at the boat is the Miss Africa Crown Beauty contest whose finals will be held at the boat following the September 3rd Pre-selection contest in which 23 contestants qualified for the finals watched by over 400 revelers. Apart from the Beauty pageant, part of the entertainment will include live music with top African artists. On the line-up is Bobi Wine, Desire Luzinda and Henry Tigan (all from Uganda), Amani from Kenya together with Vumbi Dekula and Band from Tanzania. On the VJ ring will be “Sound of Blackness” which will “shake the floor from below” as fan lovers “shake their beef from above” across the Baltic sea. There will be several “Curtain raisers” in Club Galaxy whose names will be announced as soon as the list is finalized. Unfortunately, Ali Kiba from Tanzania will not be able to make it after the cancellation of Ali Kiba’s entire European tour due to what the artist said, were “unavoidable circumstances”. To underline the unfortunate nature of the cancellation, Ali Kiba has released a video clip apologizing to fans following the cancellation of concerts in Europe including his beat at the Africa Night Cruise. A comprehensive Program during the cruise will be released by the end of the week so that those who will be lucky enough to be in the Cruise will be able to follow events step by step so as not to miss anything. The 48th Uganda independence anniversary will be celebrated in Club Galaxy with top Ugandan artist Bobi Wine leading in the singing of the Ugandan National anthem at mid-night on 8th October. The Cruise is packed with action and further information will be circulated as it becomes available.
