A plane bound for Munich slid off the tarmac at Stockholm's Arlandaairport during take-off on Wednesday afternoon. No passengers were injured.
"A Lufthansa plane was about to take off, and on the way out from the terminal, it came off the runway," said Klas Nilsson of airport operator Swedavia to the Aftonbladet newspaper.
The 76 passengers on board left the scene without injuries, and were shuttled back to the terminal in buses.
"I don't know why this happened. It may have slipped on a slippery patch, it may have been a human error," Nilsson continued.

The plane is currently being investigated by a team of engineers.
"We have to take a closer look at the plane to find out the best way to solve this, hopefully all the passengers will be able to take a later flight."
