BELGIUM: “MISS EAST AFRICA BELGIUM” FINALISTS IDENTIFIED
After the first and second casting, the finalists of the Miss East Africa Belgium are finally identified. Twelve contestants will battle out for the crown of the fairest among the East African beauties resident in Belgium on 1st of September this year. Two Kenyan beauties Keri and Julia are in the race to face stiff competition from Rwandanese who are defending the title.
The beauty contest which is in its second year running has its profile and popularity rising with the second casting being spiced with entertainment from Ally Kiba the renowned Bongo musician. The guest profile which cuts across professional cadre is also steadily transcending the East African diaspora borders.
The 2012 Finalists are Keri, Julia (Kenya), Jeanine (Burundi), Muna, Juliana (Tanzania), Leoncie, Isabelle, Grace (Rwanda), Saredo, Filsan, Raissa (Somalia) and Nabiha (Djibouti)
The contest is hosted to bring alive the culture and beauty of East Africa and is open to all young African ladies originally from East Africa resident in Belgium.
